Breaking Bread Food Program

 We believe that food and community are the doorways to PEACE, and that’s why My Tribe Rise focuses on bringing all members of our community together to feed the hungry. Volunteers at our food giveaway events include Crips and Bloods, clergy, law enforcement, law makers, residents, and business owners joining together to meet the community’s most basic needs. Breaking Bread together also gives us the space to connect across our differences, sit together for dialogue, and break bread in peace.
